The summer opening hours for Multifaith Chaplaincy services are as follows:

The Chaplaincy room in Fox Building on Falmouth Campus will be open in line with the building opening times, 09:00 – 18:30, Monday to Friday.

Penryn Chaplaincy will remain open 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, including the Summer Bank Holiday. While there will be a reduced presence of chaplains, as most will take a well-earned break until September, Mary will continue to come in most Thursdays. Students and staff are welcome to use the space and make themselves at home with a cup of tea or coffee. 

The Muslim prayer room on the Penryn campus remains open 24/7 throughout the summer to staff and students (via student/staff ID card), including Bank Holidays.

There may be some disruptions to carry out deep cleaning and maintenance of the spaces, but details of these are to be confirmed. Please keep an eye on our which will be updated with full details.

We’re here to support you with your career throughout the Summer Vacation, which is especially important if you’re graduating this July. We’re available 10:00 - 15:00, Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. We’ll be running appointments with our friendly team, and our staff are here to talk to you via live chat, phone and email.

The Info Point in Peter Lanyon will be open for in-person enquiries, emails to info.penryn@ex.ac.uk or by calling 01326 371800 Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00.

The desk will be closed for lunch between 13.00-14.00 but the telephone will still be manned during this time.

We will be closed on Monday 31 August (Bank Holiday)

The Student Support Team is available as normal, excluding the Summer Bank Holiday (Mon 31 August 2025).

The Penryn Education Welfare team is available between 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday. We offer video meetings via Teams, telephone meetings and in-person meetings too. Visit our webpage for contact information.

The Sports Centre’s opening hours remain the same throughout the summer, with the exception of the Summer Bank Holiday, where will operate reduced hours

Library Summer Opening Times

Falmouth Campus Library

Starting on Tuesday 26 May, the summer opening times for Falmouth Campus Library will be:

• Open weekdays 9am-5pm – Student Helpdesk and Library support will available during these hours.
• Closed in the evenings and on weekends throughout the summer break, except for Saturday 30 May when the library will be open 10am-6pm.
• Closed for the Bank Holiday on Monday 31 August.
• Usual term time hours will resume at the start of the new academic year.

Penryn Campus Library

• Open 24/7 throughout summer break.
• From Monday 15 June, the Student Helpdesk and Library support will be available 9am-5pm on weekdays. Outside of these hours it will be open for self-service only.
• From Saturday 13 June, weekends will be self-service only.
• Remains open for self-service only on the Bank Holiday, Monday 31 August. 
• Usual term time hours resume at the beginning of the new academic year.
