Starting from Saturday 13th June the Chaplaincy will be closed for the summer break. The last Mass at the Chaplaincy for this academic year will be celebrated on Thursday 11th June at noon followed by our traditional agape. If you are staying in Exeter you will need to attend Mass at the Sacred Heart Church or the Blessed Sacrament Church, you can find the Mass times on their respective websites and .
Additionally, you can also go to the St Boniface Church in Crediton where Fr Michael celebrates Mass on Sundays at 9.30pm and on Wednesdays at 4pm (for more info please visit ). Wishing you all a nice summer break on behalf of the Chaplaincy team.

Young Adults Retreat at Sclerder Abbey – A weekend retreat for 18-30 year olds to reflect on our calling to be stewards of the earth, underpinned by the scripture Genesis 2:15, will take place at Sclerder Abbey from Friday 19th June to Sunday 21st June. There will be times of prayer, reflection and discussion led by Fr Jude Udokwu, along with art workshops and time in the gardens. Young people are being asked to make a contribution of £40 each. Transport will be provided from Liskeard Station both on the Friday night and Saturday morning, returning around 2pm on Sunday. It is important to book by filling the following form: . Invitation from the Sisters of Mary Morning Star – The Sisters of Mary Morning Star in Newman Convent (Lee Rd, Lynton EX35 6BS North Devon) are inviting you to their Garden Day on Saturday 20th June from 10am to 4pm to help them continue to transform their beautiful garden. Mass will be at 4.30pm. The day is a great opportunity to meet and get to know the Sisters and also for all ages to come together and work on a common project. There may also be an opportunity to vist the Valley of the Rocks, a scenic location about a quarter of a mile away. Bring your gardening gloves, tools or just yourselves and a picnic lunch, the Sisters will provide drinks and cakes. To find out more about the Sisters of Mary Morning Star you can visit .
Statue of Our Lady of Fatima and Relics of Sts. Jacinta and Francisco – The World Apostolate of Fatima in England and Wales is touring the National Pilgrim Virgin Statue and relics of Saints Jacinta and Francisco Marto to Cathedrals and Churches in the U.K. to mark the centenary of the First Saturdays devotion. Sacrament of Reconciliation – Fr. Michael is available to hear Confessions on Tuesdays at 6.30pm, and in general he is usually available before or after Mass. Otherwise, you can arrange an appointment with him by talking to him in person or emailing him at Michael.Wheaton@prcdtr.org.uk. “In the life of the body a man is sometimes sick, and unless he takes medicine, he will die.
