樱花动漫 this course:

Most writing blocks aren't about writing.

They're about what writing means to you as a researcher, and the stories, habits, and thought patterns that get in the way before you've typed a single word.

This workshop helps you identify what's happening when you can't write, and gives you a practical tool to use when you're stuck.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to: - Recognise what is getting in the way of your writing, and why the usual fixes don't work.

- Identify which type of block you're experiencing and what to do about it.

- Approach your writing with more self-compassion and less self-criticism.

Who should attend this course:

This course is for Researchers and academics at any career stage who find themselves avoiding writing, procrastinating with other tasks, struggling to start, or repeatedly falling short of their own expectations.

This workshop is particularly useful if you suspect the block isn't really about time or skill, but haven't quite been able to put your finger on what it is instead.

If you have accessibility requirements, please contact researcherdevelopment@exeter.ac.uk in advance to discuss further.
